This place is the best! ALL the empanadas are so good and it’s tough to decide between the poblano cheese and the pork and cheese - beef potato and cheese are also great! Puerto Rican rice is phenomenal too! Great service, great food, and great people! One of NWI hidden gems!
I was at a friend’s in Beecher Illinois. We had a taste for Puerto Rican rice. I googled Puerto Rican food near me to my surprise. There was a Puerto Rican restaurant just 15 minutes away in Cedar Lake Indiana! It’s very difficult to find great Puerto Rican rice, they have excellent Puerto Rican rice! We cannot wait to come back and try more options on the menu, especially the empanadas.
We had Froggie Latin Kitchen cater our family reunion. We got the 100-person taco bar, full rice tray, half bean tray, and cheese quesadillas. Price, service, and food were great. Guests raved about the food.
